Step1: Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply.
Step2: Allow the unit to cool completely.
Step3: Remove the access panel to reach the thermostat/valve assembly.
Step4: Label and carefully disconnect the wiring and capillary line.
Step5: Unscrew the mounting hardware and remove the old control and valve.
Step6: Install the new unit, secure it, and reconnect wiring and capillary.
Step7: Reconnect the gas line with approved sealant, and check for leaks.
Step8: Restore power and gas, then test operation up to 550°F.
