Description

The Groen 011004 Steam Safety Relief Valve 3/4" MPT x 3/4" FPT is a pressure protection part for commercial equipment. This part opens on its own when the internal pressure of steam reaches about 25 PSI. It then releases the excess pressure to assist in maintaining secure operating conditions. The valve will reseat by itself when the pressure is back to an acceptable level so that the system can go back to operating properly. It has connections and should be used on compatible steam systems as a vital safety part for pressure regulation and equipment protection.
