Description

The Hatco 02-19-016 Toggle Switch 1/2" SPST is used to complete or interrupt an electrical circuit when the lever is changed between the ON and OFF position so that the current will only flow when the switch is in the closed position. An internal contact mechanism causes the toggle to be moved in the single-pole, single-throw circuit. It is connected to the control panel or housing of compatible equipment in a convenient place to be operated. This SPST toggle switch is used in applications that are meant for a 1/2" panel cutout and straightforward ON/ OFF operation.

Dimensions:

  • Weight: 0.1 lbs
  • Length: 1.3 in
  • Height: 2 in
  • Width: 1 in

Step1: Disconnect power to the equipment and verify the circuit is de-energized before servicing.

Step2: Remove the access panel to reach the existing toggle switch.

Step3: Label the wire connections for accurate reinstallation.

Step4: Disconnect the wires and remove the mounting nut securing the old SPST switch.

Step5: Insert the new toggle switch into the panel opening, secure it with the mounting hardware, and reconnect the wires to the correct terminals.

Step6: Reinstall the access panel, restore power, and test the switch to confirm proper on/off operation.
