The Hatco 02.30.068 Infra-Red Lamp 120V 250W is a heat source that is used to heat food or surfaces by passing an electrical current through its filament to produce an invisible radiant energy. The lamp is able to perform warming operations in catering equipment because the heat is produced directly without using a flow of air, as the lamp warms. This is installed in the warmer or heating section, which is usually attached at the back of a protective cover and connected to the 120-volt power supply.
