The Manitowoc 040002396 Ice Machine Harvest Float Switch is a part that plays an essential role in measuring water levels to enable the proper production of ice. It works through a switch that is sensitive to the amount of water in the reservoir; when the water has risen to a particular level. This float switch not only avoids the problem of overflow but also protects against low water levels, which increases the stability of operation. Benefits include enhanced ice quality since water levels can be maintained and other problems arising from wrong water flow are eliminated.
