The Russell 08216071 Evaporator Motor 230V is a drive that uses electrical energy to convert it into mechanical rotation to move the fan blades in a commercial cooling system. This element uses a 230V power supply to ensure that the air moves uniformly through the evaporator coils to ensure the required heat exchange process. This is mounted within the evaporator housing of the walk-in chiller by mechanics who screw the turbine to the fan shroud assembly. The unit is a direct replacement component that is made to fit certain voltage and mounting requirements.
