The Kason 10059005003 Roller Strike is an essential part of walk-in cooler and freezer doors. It works by providing a slick surface the roller of the latch can interact with to achieve a safe and quiet closure. The design of the strike allows a frictionless contact with the roller, which allows the latch to disengage and re-engage without difficulty. This part is usually attached to the door opposite the latch to accept and retain the roller of the latch during door closure. It is chrome plated zinc to a smooth finish and is commonly combined with Kason latches.
