The Garland 1087697 Top Burner Valve NPT In 1/8" Out 3/8" is used to regulate the flow of gas through the internal mechanism of the valve by turning it open and closing the passage between the inlet and outlet. When the valve stem is switched, it controls the amount of fuel to be delivered to the top burner based on the selected setup. This valve is attached to the gas supply line towards the top burner assembly, and it is connected with 1/8 in NPT inlet and 3/8 in NPT outlet fittings.
