The American Range 11052 Orifice Hood LP #52 High gas flow to the burner to properly combust in a commerical appliance. It works by opening a hole that is just the right size to regulate the amount of gas enters the burner and the brass hood assists in protecting the orifice and stabilizing gas flow. The orifice is screwed into the fitting in the burner manifold or gas tube. It forms a component of the fuel delivery system of the appliance.
