The Frymaster 12051 Thermostat Knob 2-1/4" DIA 400°-200°F adjusts the temperature settings by rotating the knob to change the contact point of the thermostat, adjusting the control circuit based on the desired setpoint. When the dial is turned, it adjusts the control input to make the thermostat demand heat within the desired temperature range. This knob is fitted to the control panel of compatible fryers, attached to the thermostat shaft so that the user can see the markings. It is to be replaced when it gets damaged or cracked.
