The Intedge 12H316 Plate 3/16" fits in the Grinder assembly and the food is forced through the perforated surface, and the grinding action rotates against it. It operates together with the knife of the grinder to shear and force the part through the holes creating a uniform size. This plate is placed at front of the compatible meat or food grinders and is fixed by the retaining ring in a manner that it fits into the knife and forces the processed part to be forced out through the perforations as it is operated.
