Description

The Manitowoc 13579 Pressure Switch monitors pressure conditions in the refrigerant lines and moves outside of the defined operating range during ice machine operation. A sensing diaphragm is used in conjunction with an internal actuator to convert pressure changes into mechanical motion to open, or close electrical contacts, which send control signals to other components. The mechanism can be used to regulate the system by reacting to the changes in suction or discharge conditions and by coordinating the electrical control circuit. This pressure switch refrigeration control compartment is compatible with ice machines and is directly connected to the refrigerant piping and wiring harness.
