Description

The APW 14870 Thermostat S-Type monitors temperature through its 3/8-inch x 5-1/8-inch sensing bulb and cycles the electrical circuit to maintain the selected heat setting during operation. Designed for a 200°F to 400°F temperature range, it uses a 24-inch capillary to transfer thermal changes from the bulb to the internal control mechanism for automatic temperature regulation. The thermostat is installed in compatible commercial cooking equipment, where the sensing bulb is placed within the heated compartment and the control mounts inside the electrical control assembly. Its configuration supports coordinated operation with the surrounding heating system.
