The Waring/Qualheim 18388 O-Ring 9/16" ID X 1/16" Width is a circular seal that is used to prevent fluid and air flow by crushing between two mating surfaces. Elastomer flexes when pressured to ensure contact when components move or vibrate when installed. It is installed in a machined groove in drive or jar interface assemblies, where it needs to be sealed. They include an inside diameter cross-section, which enables them to fit well in small housings. It has a simple geometry that allows it to be assembled again and again in the process of routine service and replacement.
