Description

T&S Brass 1R Pre-Rinse Chrome Spring is a replacement part that works on the concept of water pressure, whereby when the handle is squeezed, the flow is directed through the valve and spray head. The hose and spray valve are then forced back to rest by the internal spring mechanism when released to halt the flow of water. The pre-rinse unit is mounted on the backsplash or wall above the washbasin on a commercial sink. It has a flexible spring support and spray valve to rinse dishes and cookware.

Step1: Turn off water supply and relieve pressure from the pre-rinse unit.

Step2: Remove the spray hose and existing spring from the riser assembly.

Step3: Clean the riser tube and check for damage.

Step4: Slide the new chrome spring over the riser and align properly.

Step5: Secure the spring at both ends to ensure stable positioning.

Step6: Reattach the hose, restore water flow, and test smooth operation.
