The Market Forge 20-0019 Steam Safety Pressure Relief Valve MPT x FPT is the part that guards steam systems against overpressure. It is set to pop open on the buildup of internal pressure to 25 pounds per square inch and shut tight when the pressure recedes to the normal operating range for the operation.
