The Rational 20.01.801P Door Gasket 27" X 20" makes the seal between the cooker door and the frame to assist in containing the heat and moisture in the cooking chamber. It is a bit compressed as the door closes and it is in contact along the perimeter. The gasket is designed to fit into the channel around the door opening and is designed to fit on compatible ovens. When fitted, it maintains a regular temperature and the door is able to open and close.
