Description

The Blodgett 20287 Solenoid Valve is a 1/2 inch, 120 volt for commercial ovens. It is an electric valve that operates in the electrically controlled gas flow to the oven's burner. On energization the solenoid valve opens to permit the flow of gas to the burner. The gas supply is shut off when the valve is de-energized, and it closes. It is crucial for the gas flowing in this precise manner for proper oven operation, analogous to control for proper heat distribution. Advantages include better temperature control, less chance of gas leak, and better energy use for maximum efficiency in gas cooking.
