Garland 2195100 Surface Heating Element 6-1/2" 1250W is a heat generator that transforms electrical energy to thermal energy when a 208 voltage is applied across the resistance element. The current flow will make the element evenly heat to provide a controlled cooking surface temperature on which to cook food. It is attached to the flat cooking surface of compatible equipment, either mounted in the heating cavity or built into it and it is connected to the electrical terminals of the unit.
