The Moffat 232666 Door Seal works by providing an airtight connection between the skillet cavity and the outside condition to prevent heat loss during the cooking process. This part pushes against the entrance frame when closing so that the internal temperatures are kept at the same level to achieve maximum thermal operation. It is firmly fixed in a channel along the edges of the opening of the pan, either by means of clips or by a press-fit construction. This component is a direct replacement of seals of compatible convection kitchen appliance models.
