Description

The Star Mfg 2J8958 Gas Valve is a flow-control part for controlling the flow of gas in commercial cooking equipment. It controls the opening, closing, or restriction of gas flow to the burner system in response to operating controls to allow fuel to reach the burner system as needed. During cooking operations, proper regulation of gas delivery is required for the ignition of the burner and heat production. This valve is a 3/8" connection that is installed in the system's gas supply line between the gas source and the burner assembly.
