The APW 2R-56505 Black Knob Thermostat 2 in DIA uses a control shaft to adjust the position of a thermostat-mounted gas valve by converting rotational movement to the adjustment mechanism of the valve. Its shape of 2 inches in diameter fits over the control stem and enables the operators to choose the preferred position. It is attached to the front panel of matching commercial cooking systems at the thermostat control point. The applications that have that size and type of control interface in foodservice gas valve systems.
