The Wells 2T46269 KA Thermostat senses temperature changes through its 3/16" × 12" curved bulb and adjusts the electrical contacts to maintain the selected heat setting during operation. As the bulb expands and contracts with temperature fluctuations, the internal mechanism controls the flow of power to the heating elements using the .187" D-stem flat-up configuration for temperature adjustment. This thermostat is mounted inside the control panel of compatible commercial cooking and warming equipment, with the sensing bulb positioned in the heated area. It operates as part of the temperature control assembly, regulating heat throughout the cooking cycle.
