The Hobart 356589-1 Spark Ignition Control Module is an electronic control that is to be used with gas-fired commercial appliances. It sustains the supervision of spark generation, startup sequence for the burner, and communication with flame detection circuits until proof of working ignition is obtained. It has a 1/4-inch quick-connect terminal for easy wiring integration with compatible harness assemblies. Placed in the control system of the appliance, it assists in achieving coordinated operation of the burners by controlling the timing of ignition, monitoring the status of ignition, and providing general support to the gas control system.
