The Vollrath/Idea-Medalie 369013 Glass Fuse is used in such a way that the electrical current can be passed through its filament in normal condition and the circuit can be broken when the current is more than the proper conditions to prevent possible damage to the connected equipment. It is made to react fast to electrical flow variation, making sure the circuit is broken where it is needed. This miniature glass fuse has been designed to be installed in electrical panels or appliances, and it is installed in conventional fuse enclosures to ensure that the protection of the system it is embedded with is consistent.
