The Hobart 4001212 Lid Springs Kit promotes the opening and closing of the hood of a commercial kitchen appliance by balancing the mass of the heavy lid. This mechanical elements use tension in order to hold the lifting mechanism in place so that the assembly does not move out of the position when loading or unloading. The given kit is attached to the back lift system of compatible commercial units to replace the used tensioners. Proper setup ensures the balance of the hood system and prevents the possibility of the lid falling down at any moment during the high-volume kitchen work.
