The Legion 420083 Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240 V operates by passing or breaking circuits as required by passing or breaking current through its three poles. It works through an electromagnet that is used to open or close circuit by moving contacts to enable the electrical parts to be supplied with power safely. It is a contactor that is intended to be installed in commercial kitchen appliances or industrial electrical panels, where it can be mounted in place to handle high-current loads and also be used with other control components. Its design can operate with the standard 208/240 V system, with a current of 40 to 50 amps.
