The Southbend 4440447 Spark Module W/Wire Harness produces controlled sparks of ignition to create burner flame when the appliance is starting up and during cooking. It operates by sending electrical pulses to the burner control system by means of timed circuits sent to the ignition points in the harness to enable the same timing of the spark. This module is contained in the control housing of the unit which is connected to the ignition electrodes and wiring connections as a component of the burner ignition assembly.
