The Vulcan Hart 499595-00001 Burner Knob 2-1/2" with 1/4 inch D-Stem rotates the burner control shaft to increase or decrease the gas flow by moving the internal mechanism as it rotates. When the lever is turned, the D-stem turns the valve or control shaft such that the setting is changed to the desired position. It is attached to the front panel of compatible equipment, where the control shaft sticks out and in such a way that the red color and size are visible as a control. The diameter provides a hand-controlled option and matches panel markings.
