The Wells 50374 Safety Thermostat monitors the temperature of the equipment and turns off electrical power when the temperature surpasses its set point to prevent overheating. When the perceived temperature returns to a temperature lower than the set point, thermostat resets and current is again permitted to flow restoring the control circuit. This thermostat kit is screwed to the heating chamber or a temperature-sensitive surface in the unit with the screws provided. The assembly is a thermal limiting component when the machine is running normally.
