The Wells 50396 Warmer Heating Element 15-1/2" x 7-1/2" 120 V 1200W is used to change electrical energy into heat to ensure the warming temperatures remain constant in food service equipment. It operates by conducting electric current through its resistive coil and this produces heat uniformly on the surface of the element to facilitate effective thermal conduction. This heating component is installed either under the warming pan or in the heating chamber of the component where it evenly distributes the heat to maintain the food at the required serving temperature throughout the usage.
