Description

The Amana 53001594 Magnetron converts electrical energy into microwave energy that is directed into the system cavity to heat food during programmed cooking cycles. Inside the sealed assembly electrons interact with a magnetic field to generate high-frequency microwave energy which travels through the waveguide and is distributed throughout the cooking chamber. The magnetron is installed within the high-voltage compartment of a compatible commercial system, where it operates as part of the microwave generation system that powers the cooking process. It operates with associated high-voltage electrical assemblies to support heating performance and programmed operation.
