The Cuno 56077-03 Cold Water Scale Inhibitor is a water-treatment part designed to help control mineral scale in cold-water systems with flow rates up to 6 GPM. It operates within the water system to minimize deposits on surfaces and passages that come in contact with the water supplied. It is fitted with 3/4" NPT connections and can be used at a maximum water temperature of 100°F. Installed in-line on the cold water supply to commercial foodservice equipment and water-using systems. It is used to prevent the formation of scale during the water flow through the equipment.
