Description

The Amana 59174519 Mechanical Thermal Cutout Cavity interrupts the heating circuit when excessive temperature develops within the cooking chamber. A heat-sensitive mechanism responds to the sensed condition and changes its internal contact state, breaking electrical continuity when the preset threshold is reached. Its mechanical design allows the temperature response to occur without electronic processing.
