Description

The Hobart 706618-0000A Pilot Assembly 14-3/8" X 7-5/8 X 12 works by keeping a small continuous flame, that starts the main burners when the gas valve opens. It uses a thermocouple, which measures the heat of this flame and only allows the gas flow to the heating elements when a safe source of ignition is found. This particular unit is positioned in the internal burner chamber of compatible commercial kitchen equipment in the direction of the main gas ports. The component measures and is an essential part of the ignition cycle of high-volume cooking appliances.
