Description

The Groen 79803 Ignition Control is used for electrical signals to start and keep a flame burning in compatible cooking equipment. It operates by accepting signals from safety and temperature circuits and, at the same time, using sensor feedback to determine if there is a flame and when to ignite it. When a flame is not detected or is interrupted, the control will terminate the ignition cycle and, based on system configuration, will start a reset or shut down cycle. This part is usually mounted within the equipment's control compartment and is then linked to the ignition electrodes, gas valves, and safety interlocks.
