The Vollrath/Idea-Medalie 808 Redco Wedger cuts fruits and vegetables into eight even wedges by pushing produce through a blade assembly and pusher block. The unit is used to cut sections of even size in a single pass. It is usually used as part of a countertop food preparation station in commercial kitchens, prep areas and foodservice applications. The wedger is often used for such items as tomatoes, lemons, limes, potatoes and other produce that need to be consistently divided.
