The Hobart 836833 Safety Thermostat 3/8" X 2" is a protective temperature control part designed for commercial foodservice equipment. It senses if the system is running too hot and can protect by turning off the heating circuit if necessary. The thermostat works on the basis of an internal heat sensor that detects changes in temperature and instructs the system to turn off until it gets back to a comfortable temperature. It is mounted in the vicinity of heat generating parts to provide accurate temperature monitoring. It's designed to ensure secure operation, protect internal systems, and ensure the accuracy of the equipment.
