The Everpure 9601-00 Water Filter Cartridge 4C filters sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and other particulates by passing water through a pleated depth-filtration media that entraps the contaminants as the fluid passes through the outside to the inside. The dissolved substances and suspended solids are reacted with the multi-stage cartridge as the water flows through it and this process supports in improving the clarity and taste properties. The filter cartridge is installed in compatible under-sink or countertop housings that typically are connected to a pressurized cold water supply and the filter is continuously operated as the cold water is used.
