Description

The Blodgett 98443 Natural Gas Solenoid Valve with a 3/8" FPT 1/4" recessed tab terminal is an electrically operated valve designed to manage passage through a mechanically driven internal sealing element. Electrical energizing shifts the core assembly to permit flow through the passage, while loss of power returns it to a closed state that blocks movement. Installed in a commercial cooking appliance gas circuit, the unit connects via threaded fittings and recessed tab terminals for electrical linkage. In oven and range systems, it participates in fuel delivery sequencing associated with ignition timing, burner regulation, and controlled shutdown sequences.
