The Market Forge 97-5030 Steam Control Valve 3/4" regulates the flow of the steam by shutting or letting the steam through its own internal passage that flows through a turn-activated mechanism. It works by regulating the flow of the steam to the connected line and the equipment can either turn off or return the steam as needed by the system. The valve is installed in the piping of the steam supply, usually at an intersection where a 3/4-inch line is changed to the appliance, making it conveniently located so that it can be easily nudged to the proper position.
