Description

The APW 642626-06 Electric Griddle Gasket works by establishing a thermal barrier between the heating components, and the outer casing to prevent the loss of heat. This element assists in maintaining internal temperatures by sealing electrical gaps between metal surfaces, so that the thermal energy is concentrated in the cooking surface. It is placed along the edge of the griddle plate assembly to give a uniform shield against the entry of grease and moisture. This mechanical seal allows even heat to be spread over the entire appliance surface and internal electrical connections are not exposed to debris and high temperatures.
