The Southbend B93-00008 Flame Sensor 90 used to detect the presence of a flame in a burner by detecting heat and transmitting a signal to the control system. In case the flame is absent and prevents the flow of gas to prevent the further supply of fuel. This flame sensor is mounted close to the burner assembly of commercial cooking equipment, mounted at 90 degrees to align the flame correctly to the flame sensor and to be able to detect the flame accurately during use.
