The Frymaster 8101338 Drain Valve 1" NPT operates by opening and closing to regulate the flow of used oil in the draining process to enable the fryer to drain effectively when it needs to be cleaned. It works through a threaded system that fits into the plumbing system of the fryer and allows oil to flow easily through its specific path. This valve is installed in the lower part of compatible fryers, where it is the central point of directing oil out of the vat.
