The Imperial 1006 Burner Gasket Holes C is used to seal the gap between the burner and to assist in containing the heat and combustion within the chamber. This substance compresses a little around the perimeter to create a tight seal at the point where the burner and the frame meet. This is fitted into the burner opening, and the center-to-center mounting holes are 2 inches to fit well. The particular type and fit are identified by the green colour. It is placed between the burner flange and the oven housing for consistent functioning.
