Star Mfg 2I-Z0752 Burner Gasket is a part that is used to provide a closed barrier between the burner and the mounting surface to trap the flow of gases during ignition and operation. When clamped, it compresses and seals the irregularities of surfaces to reduce leakage around the burner interface. It is mounted between the appliance mounting plate and the burner assembly. The gasket is designed to fit the size of the burners and it is used to route the flames uniformly in commercial cooking equipment.
