The Garland 4522270 Gas Range Burner Head combines gas and air and sprays the ignited mixture over its ports to create a flame when required by the control system. The flame pattern is used to provide heat to the cookware above as gas passes through the head and ignites at the burner openings. It is fitted on the cooker of the compatible gas ranges, aligned with the gas manifold and fixed. It is to be used in place of the previous head when it is warped, clogged, or does not light or burn evenly during normal operation.
