The Montague 28387-8 Ceramic Kit works by spreading heat uniformly over its surfaces, which enables the burner unit to sustain a consistent thermal cycle as the unit moves out of the cycle. Its ceramic parts can be used to react with the fire in the burner to the amount of heat that passes through and used to maintain uniform cooking temperatures inside the system. This kit is located in the burner compartment, where it is placed along the heat path, whereby ceramic elements are used to control the thermal features of the cooking chamber.
