The Blodgett 38559 Contactor Kit is an electrical switch used to regulate the flow of power to the heating elements in the oven. It functions by switching electrical circuits on and off based on control signals to enable the temperature and heating cycle in the oven to be maintained at a constant level. This is installed in the electrical assembly of the oven which is placed in the control panel and wiring compartment and connected to the power supply and heating elements.
