Description

The TRUE 800315 Defrost Switch is a frost-free refrigeration system, designed to automatically control the defrosting process. It operates through a temperature sensor, when the evaporator coils are frosted, the switch turns on the defrost heater to melt the ice and water can then drip off. This mechanism increases the efficiency of energy used and also avoids the problem of icing which may lead to cooling problems. Advantages consist in the lack of necessity to perform manual operations, stable temperature regulation, and better food storage, so, this technology is an integral part of modern refrigeration systems for commercial and household use
